Comprehensive Updates
The district’s three middle schools received safety and security improvements including additional security cameras, installation of lockable interior doors, and secure main entrances through additions and renovations to administrative offices. Other renovation highlights include improved locker rooms, classrooms, libraries, and cafeterias at Horning and Butler, and a full demolish and rebuild of Les Paul’s cafeteria.
A larger plan
The improvements at all three middle schools were a part of a larger district-wide improvement plan to address safety and security, capital maintenance, learning environment enhancements, and ADA compliance throughout the School District of Waukesha. Other projects in the district include the Waukesha North Kitchen Renovation and Waukesha South High School Addition + Renovation.
