Solution: Add on to and renovate the existing building to modernize it and improve infrastructure and safety throughout
Result: A like-new high school that was completed in five phases to minimize disruptions to student learning

Addition and Renovations
The addition is home to interactive learning spaces, including:
- STEAM classrooms and labs
- Tech Ed. shop for woods, metals, automotive, and manufacturing instruction
- Agriculture classroom and lab
- Greenhouse
- Physical education space for weights and cardio training
The renovations include:
- Transformation of former tech ed area into new band, choir, and show choir classrooms and rehearsal spaces
- Library
- Special education and life skills
- Updated finishes in classrooms and science labs
- Administrative and student services
- Updated restrooms
- Concessions to serve the gym and auditorium
- Refreshed finishes and updated lighting throughout the building, including hallways and support spaces

Environmental branding installations at Mayville High School communicate the school’s values through two large word clouds. Selected by students, the words reflect the district’s vision for a strong community.

Passing the Referendum
The Mayville School District partnered with Bray to pass a referendum that would fund the addition and renovation work at the high school, along with secure entry and building infrastructure improvements throughout the district.
