Need: Address high school needs with a specific focus on providing a new or expanded auditorium, a new auxiliary gymnasium, a new weight room, and an updated commons/cafeteria.
Solution: Additions and renovations to expand the theater and the commons, add additional gymnasium and fitness space, upgrade safety/security at the school’s entrance, and create new spaces for music and wrestling.

In partnership with the Camanche Community School District, our team explored multiple solutions to address its high school needs with a specific focus on providing a new or expanded auditorium, a new auxiliary gymnasium, a new weight room, and an updated commons/cafeteria. A community engagement effort, followed by a district-wide survey, resulted in a referendum that was approved with more than 71% support.
The high school received safety/security upgrades at the main entrance, renovation and expansion of the existing theater, addition of an auxiliary gym and weight/fitness center, renovation of the currently idled swimming pool into new choir and wrestling rooms, and renovation of the commons/cafeteria, which serves as the lobby for all events in the competition gym and upgraded theater.
