Megan Schulte is a project coordinator on our team responsible for assessing existing facilities to create study documents for our clients, working on construction documents, and creating renderings.
Throughout the past year, Megan has become proficient in Enscape and Revit and enjoys creating visual renderings to show clients the visual concept of spaces. “It’s a great way to generate excitement about a space and communicate the design in an impactful way,” says Megan.
Her love for art and math found her looking at a career in architecture as it combines both of her interests. “This career draws from a multitude of disciplines which I all enjoy, so I knew I’d like this job,” says Megan. “With endless design possibilities, no design is the same and that makes the work we do fun as we get to be creative and think outside the box.”
A unique experience for Megan this past year was participating in a site tour at the new Menominee Elementary School in Oshkosh, her hometown. She attended Webster Elementary/Middle School which will transfer students to Menominee when complete. “Webster had minimal views of Lake Winnebago, so I love that the new school emphasizes its connection with the shores. Though it is bittersweet to see Webster go, I am excited to see how the new school supports students for generations to come,” says Megan.
Megan also enjoys being creative outside of work. In addition to painting, she recently started a pottery class where her artistic talents are explored on the pottery wheel.
