Devin Palmberg is a project coordinator in our Davenport, IA, office and is involved in project design development and construction document phases. He is currently working on Sudlow Middle School and Mercer County High School.
Over the past year, Devin has learned Revit and BIM modeling software to create renderings and designs for clients, which has been a rewarding experience. “Learning these software programs has been incredible, in addition to being part of a collaborative team that I’m able to learn from others and share ideas,” says Devin.
Devin’s interest in STEAM careers was sparked by hearing about his grandfather’s work as an engineering drafter. “I always enjoyed technical courses like science and math, and with my creative side, pursuing a career in this field seemed like the perfect fit,” he explains.
As the eldest of three boys, Devin strives to be a role model for his younger brothers, “I want to set a good example by working hard and following my passions to achieve a successful career; I aim to show them the way,” he says.
When Devin’s not designing, he enjoys camping and hiking with his dog and girlfriend and is currently training to run a local 7-mile race this summer.
