Creating Sustainable Buildings
Each building gained efficiency and sustainability through the addition of air conditioning, LED lighting, and occupancy sensors to reduce energy consumption.
Other improvements included classroom additions and secure entries, plus improvements to art rooms, technical education spaces, music rooms, cafeterias, kitchens, main offices, and libraries. These upgrades add adaptability to learning spaces, giving flexibility to students, teachers, and the community.
Referendum Support
Over the course of two years, we partnered with the district to engage the community and staff through interactive work sessions, focus groups, school tours, and surveys.
After assessing their needs, the district developed a $33.8 million referendum question for five facilities – including Canterbury, College Park, and Highland View Elementary Schools.
