Project Details
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield sought to create a new, innovative STEM center for its rapidly growing programs. At the Everett Roehl STEM Center, floor-to-ceiling panels of glass windows create a sense of transparency and display student life, engagement and activity.
The addition houses chemistry, microbiology and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) programs, providing ample space for department resources and labs to accommodate distance education learning opportunities. The center of the building is a large, open community gathering and collaboration space.
The existing Aldo Leopold Science Building received renovations to its geography, geology and biology areas. Small collaborative lounge spaces were then added throughout the connection between the existing building and the new addition.
