Increasing Classroom + Collaboration Areas
After helping the School District of North Fond du Lac pass an $18.5 million referendum, our team is providing architectural and interior design services for the combined Bessie Allen Middle School and Horace Mann High School. Significant renovations and additions are in place at the facility to create contemporary aesthetic spaces while keeping a uniform exterior.
Horace Mann High School is receiving many improvements, including:
- Expanding the existing cafeteria/commons and food servery element
- Addition and renovations of the existing weight room and wrestling room areas
- Two-story academic addition with three large classrooms on each floor, toilet rooms, and collaborative learning spaces with semi-private small group areas
Bessie Allen Middle School is receiving renovations and additions to better support the district’s curriculum. Updates include:
- Three new addition “pods” for each grade level; each pod includes six new/renovated classrooms, toiled rooms, collaborative learning spaces and break-out rooms, and staff support areas
- Major renovation along the academic hallway
- Renovation of family and consumer science and special education classroom areas
Integrating School Pride with environmental branding
Our team is also providing environmental branding services, infusing school pride into various areas of the facility. By updating the school colors, we are incorporating vibrant and fun hues into reconfigured collaboration areas for each grade level, as well as the cafeteria and fitness spaces.
