The DeForest Area School District passed a referendum question to address district-wide needs, including addressing needs at two elementary schools.
Eagle Point Elementary features a courtyard design and generous space for classroom and resource areas. The new building creates a comprehensive environment for both students and teachers and is a welcome addition to the district. Development took place in phases around an existing K-4 school building, followed by that building being demolished so construction could complete.
Improvements at Windsor Elementary School substantially changed the look, function, and feel, turning it into a 21st century learning environment. In addition to creating a new gym, cafeteria, and administration area, the design included remodeling classrooms and the library. The addition formed a courtyard for the previously L-shaped building.
